What does unlimited data with no speed reduction mean (with Sprint only)?

When selecting the Sprint option, you have unlimited data at the highest speed for the whole duration of your rental. You can also video stream as much as you want at no extra charge. Your 4G internet speed will not be reduced after high data usage or during peak hours. You can select the carrier at checkout.

What do rentals include?

Rentals include Internet access (service and data), equipment (mobile hotspot with wall charger) and a pre-addressed, postage-paid return envelope. This is all you need.

What is the rental period?

The rental period begins on your Start Date at noon ET, and ends at noon ET on your End Date. The transit time to and from you does not count in the length of the rental period. You can extend your rental at any time. You just need to contact us.

What speed will I get?

All rentals are with the fastest 4G LTE mobile hotspots. Nowadays, the wireless carriers (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T) have 4G LTE or 4G coverage available in most areas of the US. Your hotspot will connect to the highest speed the carrier has in the area you will be using it. If the carrier only has 3G service at your location, your mobile hotspot will still be able to connect to the 3G network.

When do I need to return the equipment?

On your End Date or on the following day, you return the equipment to DayPassWireless by dropping it in your mailbox. We provide a pre-paid and pre-labeled return envelope. We will not charge you if it takes you a few extra days to mail the equipment back, but please send us an e-mail to let us know.

Is it difficult to use a mobile hotspot?

It is very easy to use a mobile hotspot. You just need to power it on, and you are ready to access the Internet. The access is password protected, so only those you want to will be able to connect through your mobile hotspot.

Can I use the mobile hotspot in a car?

Yes, it works very well in cars. Just verify if there is coverage where you travel.

If I need help, will I have access to technical support?

Yes, you will have access to free technical support over the phone, every day from 8 AM to 9 PM EST (800-615-1430 Option #2).

Is there a data usage limit for Verizon and AT&T rentals?

You can use an average of 1 Gigabyte (GB) of data (upload/download) for each day of rental with Verizon. For example, you can use a total of 7 Gigabytes (GB) for 7 days. If you go over your data allocation, we only charge $8 per extra Gigabyte used. With AT&T, you can use an average of 0.5 Gigabyte (GB) of data usage for each day of rental. The extra Gigabytes used with AT&T is charged at $10.

What can I do with 1 Gigabyte (with Verizon)?

The table below shows some applications with usage that will not exceed your daily average capacity.

Can I use the rented mobile hotspot outside of the United States?

No. The mobile hotspot must be used in the US continental, Hawaii, Puerto Rico (Sprint), and the US Virgin Islands (Sprint). You will be responsible of any international roaming fees incurred if used internationally.

Is overnight delivery available?

Yes. It is available at $28.80 (including both ways). Your order must be placed by 12 PM ET (noon ET) if you want to receive the equipment the following day.

Is Saturday delivery available?

Yes, Saturday delivery is available with the United States Postal Services (USPS).

How is the equipment shipped?

DayPassWireless uses USPS Priority Mail for all shipments with the standard shipping method ($9.90). The transit time is 2-3 business days. For rush orders, we use USPS Priority Mail Express ($28.80). We also use FedEx upon request, but their rates are higher (based on your location).

All shipping methods deliver straight to your door.

How is the equipment returned?

DayPassWireless includes a USPS pre-paid/pre-labeled return envelope with the rental package. Just insert the hotspot and charger in the envelope and drop it in your mailbox.

How far in advance should I place my order?

You should place your order as soon as possible to ensure availability. Also, you should allow 3 days for USPS delivery at the lowest shipping rate ($9.90).

The transit to and from your location does not count in the length of the rental period.

Can I extend my rental?

Yes, you can. You just need to call Customer Service at 1-800-615-1430 or send us an e-mail.

What if I break or lose the equipment (mobile hotspot and wall charger)?

If you break the equipment, we will replace it at no charge. You do not have to pay any insurance. As long as you return the equipment (damaged or not) you will not be charged. If you do not return the equipment, we will only charge you our replacement cost ($79 for the hotspot and $9 for the wall charger).

Is there a cancellation fees?

There is no cancellation fee. If the order has already shipped, send it back as soon as you receive it. We will only charge you the shipping cost.

What are the Liability and Warranties?

DayPassWireless will in no event be responsible for any losses, damages, or liability (including lost wages, time, or profits), in the event that the equipment is not received on time or does not function properly. Take note that network or equipment issues are very rare.
